CONCLUSION: The combination of anlotinib and EC-T chemotherapy demonstrated tolerable side effects in the neoadjuvant treatment of early TNBC. pCR was higher than what has been reported in previous clinical studies of chemotherapy alone. Longitudinal leisure-time physical activity profiles throughout adulthood and related characteristics: a 36-year follow-up study of the older Finnish Twin Cohort
CONCLUSIONS: We found several longitudinal leisure-time physical activity profiles with unique changes in both sexes. Fewer profiles in females than in males remained or became low physically active during the 36-year follow-up. We observed that lower education, higher body mass index, and more smoking already in young adulthood were associated with low leisure-time physical activity profiles. However, the fact that several longitudinal profiles demonstrated a change in their physical activity behavior over time implies the potential for public health interventions to improve leisure-time physical activity levels.PMID:3867...

Computational model captures cardiac growth in hypertensive pregnancies and in the postpartum period
In this study, we evaluated whether this model could capture heart growth beyond normal pregnancy. After further validation of our normal pregnancy predictions, we tested our model predictions of three rat studies of hypertensive pregnancies. Next, we simulated the postpartum period and examined the impact of lactation on cardiac growth in rats. We demonstrate that our multiscale model can capture cardiac growth associated with new-onset hypertension during pregnancy and lactation status in the postpartum period.
