Season of Conception, Smoking, and Preeclampsia in Norway

Conclusions: These results suggest that there is a seasonal driver for PE, with effects that are not modified by parity, latitude, fetal sex, or smoking. https://doi.org/10.1289/EHP963 Received: 14 August 2016 Revised: 24 January 2017 Accepted: 25 January 2017 Published: 29 June 2017 Address correspondence to C.R. Conclusion Anlotinib effectively controlled the growth of NSCLC and improved TAO related symptoms. Anlotinib maybe normalize disordered growth of blood vessels through the VEGF signaling pathway, rather than simply inhibiting angiogenesis.

Ureaplasma urealyticum (uu) is one of the most common agents of urogenital infections and is associated with complications such as infertility, spontaneous abortion and other sexually transmitted diseases. Here, a DNA sensor based on oligonucleotide target-specific gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) was developed, in which the dispersed and aggregated states of oligonucleotide-functionalised AuNPs were optimised for the colorimetric detection of a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplicon of U. urealyticum DNA. A non-cross-linking approach utilising a single Au-nanoprobe specific of the urease gene was utilised and the effect of a ...

Authors: Fontes MAP, Marzano LAS, Silva CC, Silva ACSE Abstract Despite the current availability of safe and efficient drugs for treating hypertension, a substantial number of patients are drug-resistant hypertensives. Aiming this condition, a relatively new approach named catheter-based renal denervation was developed. We have now a clinically relevant time window to review the efficacy of renal denervation for treating this form of hypertension. This short review addresses the physiological contribution of renal sympathetic nerves for blood pressure control and discusses the pros and cons of renal denervation pro...

We investigated the metabolic variation of active ingredients of ‘Hupingzao’ at different maturity stages (S1–S5) using widely targeted metabolites. In total, 406 compounds were detected, 191 were annotated by the KEGG...

This study was designed to evaluate whether helminthic infections suppress the natural development of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) in NZBWF1 mice. Infection of NZBWF1 SLE-prone mice with two nematodes failed to establish long-lasting settlement. However, the Hymenolepis microstoma (Hm) rodent tapeworm successfully established long-term parasitization of NZBWF1 mice and was used to evaluate the suppressive effects of helminth infection. Ten-month-old NZBWF1 mice developed symptoms including autoantibody generation, proteinuria, glomerular histopathology, and splenomegaly, but mice infected with Hm at 2 months of age...

Linto SibiAbstractNano-biocomposites that mimics bone’s extracellular matrix with hydroxyapatite as an inorganic and silk fibroin as organic phase for three different ratios via a simple in-situ co-precipitation method have been synthesized. The silk fibroin, a biodegradable polymer from cocoons of Bombyx mori silkworm were extracted by employing a chemical-free High-Temperature High-Pressure method as a degumming route. Then followed by the regeneration process which was do...
