Randomised controlled trial of topical corticosteroid and home-based narrowband UVB for active and limited vitiligo - results of the HI-Light Vitiligo trial.
CONCLUSION: Combination treatment with home-based hand-held NB-UVB plus TCS is likely to be superior to TCS alone for treatment of localised vitiligo. Combination treatment was relatively safe and well tolerated but was only successful in around a quarter of participants. Olopatadine/mometasone combination nasal spray in allergic rhinitis: a profile of its use
AbstractOlopatadine/mometasone furoate combination nasal spray (Ryaltris®; referred to hereafter as olopatadine/mometasone), a convenient fixed-dose combination (FDC) of the antihistamine olopatadine and the corticosteroid mometasone furoate, is approved in Australia for the treatment of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (AR) and rhinoconjunctivitis in patients 12  years of age and older. Olopatadine/mometasone is an effective treatment for seasonal and perennial AR, providing statistically significant and clinically meaningful relief of nasal symptoms relative to monocomponents and/or placebo in clinical trials...

Study on the Slow-release Mometasone Furoate Injection of PLGA for the Treatment of Knee Arthritis.
CONCLUSION: This study shows that the microspheres prepared in this study have sufficient ability of stable drug release at least 35 days, with good efficacy and high safety. In addition, mometasone furoate can be used as a potential candidate drug for 35 day long-term injection. PMID: 32940181 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher] (Source: Current Drug Delivery)

Eustachian tube dysfunction in patients with house dust mite-allergic rhinitis
ConclusionsAR patients, especially those with severe nasal obstruction, could have ETD. The local conditions of the pharyngeal orifices of the eustachian tubes are closely related to the symptoms of ETD. After treatment with nasal glucocorticoids and oral antihistamines, eustachian tube function can significantly improve as nasal symptoms subside.Trial registration Chinese Clinical Trial Registery (ChiCTR2000029071) Registered 12 January 2020 —Retrospectively registered,http://www.chictr.org.cn/edit.aspx?pid=48328&htm=4 (Source: Clinical and Translational Allergy)

Management of chronic rhinosinusitis with steroid nasal irrigations: a viable non ‐surgical alternative in the COVID‐19 Era
ConclusionsAfter a trial of NSI, 64.4% of patients with CRS no longer met candidacy for ESS and had a significant improvement in SNOT ‐22 scores. This supports the use of nasal steroid irrigations in the medical management of CRS with and without surgical intervention and with and without nasal polyposis. This article is protected by copyright. Randomized clinical trial to evaluate mometasone lavage vs spray for patients with chronic rhinosinusitis without nasal polyps who have not undergone sinus surgery
ConclusionBoth MFNS and mometasone nasal irrigations are beneficial in symptom management of CRS. Our study suggests that patients who perform mometasone lavage do better in a clinically meaningful way, but our results are not definitive and further studies are warranted. Effectiveness of a combined 308-nm excimer lamp and topical mid-potent steroid treatment for facial vitiligo: a preliminary, randomized double-blinded controlled study
This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of a combined 308-nm excimer lamp and topical steroid therapy compared with the lamp alone for treating facial vitiligo. Symmetrical, nonsegmental facial vitiligo subjects were recruited. All facial lesions were irradiated with a 308-nm excimer lamp twice weekly for a total of 24 sessions. The lesions on each side of the face were randomly allocated to have topical mometasone furoate cream or the cream base alone applied once daily for 12  weeks. Clinical improvement was evaluated by a blinded dermatologist and the participants. A total of sixteen sides of the face were assesse...

Comparison Between Effectiveness of Topical Mometasone Furoate Nasal Spray Versus Topical Fluticasone Furoate Nasal Spray in the Treatment of Chronic Rhinosinusitis: A One Year Hospital Based Study
AbstractTo compare the effectiveness between topical mometasone furoate nasal spray versus topical fluticasone furoate nasal spray in the treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis. Randomized control trial was conducted involving 70 patients. One group received topical mometasone furoate nasal spray and the other group received fluticasone furoate nasal spray for 3  weeks. All patients were prescribed oral ciprofloxacin for 3 weeks and were subjectively evaluated using the Lund and Mackay staging system and objectively using nasal endoscopy by the Lund and Kennedy scoring system. There was no inter group significance but all p...
