The oral food desensitization in the Italian allergy centres.
CONCLUSION: Although OFD may sometimes be successful and may be considered a valid alternative to an elimination diet, further randomized controlled trials are needed, in order to clarify some controversial points, such as the characteristics of the child undergoing OFD, and the methods of food preparation and administration. Impact of a clinical guideline for prescribing antibiotics to inpatients reporting penicillin or cephalosporin allergy.
CONCLUSION: The implementation of an inpatient antibiotic prescribing guideline for patients with penicillin or cephalosporin allergy was associated with an almost 7-fold increase in the number of test doses to β-lactams without increased adverse drug reactions. The South African Food Sensitisation and Food Allergy population-based study of IgE-mediated food allergy: validity, safety, and acceptability.

Performance of the PROTIA™ Allergy-Q® System in the Detection of Allergen-specific IgE: A Comparison With the ImmunoCAP® System.
CONCLUSIONS: The PROTIA™ Allergy-Q® EIA system exhibited good detection performance compared to the ImmunoCAP® FEIA system in Korean allergic patients. Diagnostic Value of Specific IgE to Peanut and Ara h 2 in Korean Children with Peanut Allergy.

A randomized trial of subcutaneous allergy immunotherapy in inner-city asthmatic children < 4 years of age.
CONCLUSION: With the exception of asthma related quality of life, allergy immunotherapy was ineffective in improving asthma outcomes in this population of inner-city children < 4 years of age.
