CONCLUSION: Exudative intraretinal aneurysmal lesions can occur in areas other than perifoveal area. OCT is an useful investigation for knowing their characteristics and the response to treatment. Anti-oxidant, diabetic and inflammatory activities of alpinia calcarata roscoe extract
CONCLUSION: Our findings demonstrated that leaf oil was slightly more promising results than rhizome oil of AC extract,which was ultimately showed medicinal potential of secondary metabolites with antioxidant, diabetic/inflammatory activities. This study aimed at summarizing the traditional uses, phytochemical profile, and biological activities of M. micrantha based on obtainable information screened from different databases. The results suggest that fresh leaves and whole plant are frequently used in folk medicine. Emergency department visits associated with wildfire smoke events in California, 2016-2019
We examined associations between smoke events and emergency department visits (EDVs) for respiratory, cardiovascular, diabetes, and mental health outcomes in California during the wildfire season June-December 2016-2019. Daily, zip code tabulation area-level wildfire-specific fine particulate matter (PM2.5) concentrations were aggregated to air basins. Comparison of various prediction models in the effect of Roux-en-Y gastric bypass on type 2 diabetes in the Chinese population 5 years after surgery
CONCLUSIONS: T2D was relieved to varying degrees 5 years after RYGB in patients with obesity. The prediction models in ABCD and the Panuzi et al. [34] studies showed the best prediction effects.
