Data on germline mutations in soft tissue and bone sarcomas are scarce. We sought to identify the prevalence of germline mutations in adult sarcoma patients treated at a tertiary cancer center. Newly diagnosed patients were offered germline genetic testing via an 84-gene panel. The prevalence of pathogenic germline variants (PGVs) and their association with disease-, and patient- related factors are reported. Significance of radiation therapy in the myxoid round-cell liposarcoma treatment regimen
ConclusionPreoperative radiation therapy for myxoid liposarcoma near vital organs is a good approach because even with a reduced dose of 40 Gy, significant tumor reduction and excellent results were achieved. Rare myxoid pleomorphic liposarcoma: a case report and literature review
We report a case of a middle-aged woman with a rapidly growing abdominal mass that was diagnosed as myxoid pleomorphic liposarcoma, a recently recognised, rare and aggressive subtype of liposarcoma. The tumour exhibits a combination of histological features from both myxoid liposarcoma and pleomorphic liposarcoma. Genetic analysis revealed mutations in TP53 and RB1, along with widespread loss of heterozygosity. However, no DDIT3 gene translocation or MDM2/CDK4 gene amplification was detected. Clinical impact of whole-body MRI in staging and surveillance of patients with myxoid liposarcoma: a 14-year single-centre retrospective study

Imaging features of perinephric myxoid pseudotumors of fat
ConclusionsPMPTF is a rare, benign, and underrecognized lesion that may mimic malignancy, particularly retroperitoneal well-differentiated liposarcoma. The imaging features of this unusual pseudosarcoma differ in native and transplanted kidneys.
