What does call look like as a private practice hem/onc attending?
Specifically, I'm curious about how frequently overnight call is usually taken, how often you get called, and what you end up having to do when called (in a standard private practice environment).

Thought about pension/retirement benefits?
I'm graduating next year and is deciding between academic environment vs. large practice such as Kaiser.

Wife probably going to make a C in post bacc. Don't know what to do.
I've posted several times over the last few years seeking advice for my wife. We've followed it closely, and she has been crushing it...until today. It feels like it's all crashing down, and I don't know what to do now.

I moved to New Zealand AMA
A year ago I moved with my young family to New Zealand and started working in the public health system here.
