Preparing for PCMHI rotation
I am starting internship in July and was assigned PCMHI as my first rotation. Since I will be applying to postdoc positions shortly after, I want to do the best I can. However, I'm worried because I don't have any experience in PCMHI. Are there any resources/books that would help prepare me to hit the ground running when I start this rotation? Thanks! I'm currently working full-time as a scribe, planning to take some time off before matriculation so that I can just relax, finish up some research, and wrap up a replay of Skyrim. Should I apply MD or MD PhD?
I hope this is the right place for this post, if not, I'd love direction elsewhere. Research is very important to me and even if I just pursue an MD, I would like to take a fifth year and do a post doc after residency (or during depending on the specialty I choose). But an MD PhD may be a better option for me application-wise, it is not my first choice as I'm concerned about my education taking too long (4-7 year PhD length is what's killing me). Yale (free) vs Harvard (125-135k in debt at 4 years)
Hi all - as the deadline to choose where I will be matriculating to medical school quickly approaches, I have narrowed down my options to two schools: Yale or Harvard. Yale (Full cost of attendance covered: living, tuition, technology...EVERYTHING) This seems like the safest option. I went to Yale for undergrad and currently do research here during my gap year. If I choose to stay here, I will be able to continue my ongoing research project and would have the choice to flex into the MD-PHD...
