Your thoughts on my situation(immigrant pre med)?
Hello guys, I've been lurking around recently but I needed to get honest feedback from you guys on my situation. So I am a 5th-year senior studying Biochemistry. cGPA is low (3.29) but sGPA is ok(3.68). I'm in a sticky situation. I started college funding my own tuition due to no financial aid due to my immigration status (DACA) but failing classes. I worked 50+ hours to pay tuition but managed classes very poorly. My GPA was a 1.5 in Exercise Science (yikes!). I was involved in an... Your thoughts on my situation(immigrant pre med)? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Took on 12/13, think I may have failed :/
US AMG taking it for the first time. Major Mistakes: 1. Completely forgot to wear gloves/wash hands at one station. 2. Forgot to counsel a patient about the use of a substance he was getting from a friend. It wasn’t central to the case but it was a big deal. 3. From a menorrhea case I completely lost my head about the differential and did not list fibroids/polyps as a diagnosis. She couldn’t get pregnant for 6 months and I put asherman, adenomyosis but no fibroids. I did say there’s may be... Took on 12/13, think I may have failed :/ (Source: Student Doctor Network)

USC and Loma Linda dentistry
Anyone have insight on these two schools? I got my acceptances, should of checked my emails more frequently while I was out of the country, but I am happy to have some more California options. I posted a thread before stating that I am from Cali (Bay Area), so I definitely prefer to stay instate. Aside from the price difference and the religious aspect to Loma Linda, which I don't mind, can anyone speak the clinical experience students get, or PBL curriculum that USC has? From what I've... Hi there, I'm just wondering if there is any information on what is the absolute lowest GPA that has been accepted to a DO school in recent history. From ASH: No benefit to XRT after RCHOP in Stage I-II DLBCL
https://www.ashclinicalnews.org/news/radiotherapy-necessary-treating-dlbcl-r-chop/ This was a non-inferiority trial for non-bulky Stage I-II DLBCL treated with RCHOP +/- XRT. No statistically significant difference in overall survival at 5 years. Several issues come to mind: 1. Not even the most vigorous defender of radiation in DLBCL would suggest that XRT represents an 8% OS advantage relative to R-CHOP alone. 2. Why 40 Gy? 30 Gy should be sufficient for non-bulky...
