Primary care scholarship. Should I apply?
I appreciate any feedback as well as hearing about your personal circumstances that helped you in making the right decision. I'm nearing the end of my first year in a D.O. school, and thus will graduate just before I turn 41. Married, no children yet but planning. We plan to return to our hometown at the end of residency. Also, I already have a six-figure student loan debt from undergrad, grad, and first year of medical school. That has left me in a position of whether or not to consider... Primary care scholarship. Has anyone ever had an employment offer rescinded due to negotiating salary?
I received an offer letter from 1 of the 2 major chains. It's for a position in an undesirable location that kind of has a hard time retaining pharmacists. I know negotiating an offer might be pointless in today's market, but I figure it doesn't hurt to try. I'm just hoping the employer doesn't get put off by my negotiating and take back the job offer. 1) Has anyone successfully negotiated their salary after receiving an offer from a chain? 2) Has anyone heard of a chain rescinding an... In-State Tuition for OOS Students
Hi everyone, I am applying to dental schools this cycle and am currently in the process of choosing where I want to apply. I was wondering what public schools offer in-state tuition to out-of-state students who go about establishing domicile/changing their residency while they are in dental school. If there were more FM and EM joint residencies (like EM/IM) options available would you do both?
I ask because obviously America is facing a healthcare crisis of not having enough PCPs and access to quality healthcare as a primary option for many citizens. If you are competitive for EM, I assume you’re also competitive for FM and IM, but it seems like the thing deterring people from pursuing this option is simply lack of programs and lack of a clear goal (are you doing IM or EM?).
