Supply Fees
Is it normal for the Navy not to cover the Supply Fee? My school invoiced that Navy and they told my school they do not cover the Supply Fee. I have ALWAYS heard that they cover the supply fee. Since it is mandatory for all dental students. I am so confused and actually kinda mad about this. I have always been told they cover the Lab/ supply fee. Anyone have any experience or advice on how to deal with this? Is there a number to call to talk to somebody? Thanks (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Just Did Very Poorly On MCAT, need advice
Sorry if this thread comes of in a venting like fashion. I don't have many friends that are premed and understand. Just got my MCAT scores back and I am very dissappointed in myself. I had an 11 point drop from FL2 to the real exam. Needless to say I am absolutely devastated. Addressing low step scores and away rotations
Hey guys, I'm new to this board/forum and have so far found it to be a great source of information. I've definitely tried to search for the questions I want to post here and haven't had any luck so here I am. Little bit about me - I'm a non-trad applicant. MSPE delayed
Hi SDN, It is how it is and I cannot do anything about it at this point... It looks like the earliest possible date for my school to upload the MSPE is some time next week and even then it will take a few days for ERAS to process and release it. It is likely going to miss the Oct 1 release date for MSPEs. Are D.O. students disadvantaged on USMLE?
Hi guys. I'm sorry because I can't find information that addresses this exact question. 1. Do you guys feel that if a DO student decides to study for both the USMLE as well as COMLEX that they are at some kind of disadvantage over someone who only had to study for the USMLE or only for the COMLEX? I think it's logical to assume that if a person puts 100% of the effort into only one or the other exclusively, their score is generally likely to be better, than had they been studying for... TMDSAS: Thoughts on the low acceptance rate of older (30+) students?
I'm solidly in this category. I'll be 35 if I apply next year (though realistically it won't be till the following year when I'm 36). Looking at the most recent statistics available on TMDSAS's website, last year 314 30+ students applied and only 44 matriculated (that's 14%). Compare that to 21-23 year olds where 3417 applied and 1105 matriculated (that's 32%). I'm assuming most will only have the ability to speculate, but is this that TX schools prefer more traditional students? Is it... TMDSAS: Thoughts on the low acceptance rate of older (30+) students? Passive-aggressive/blind-sided evaluation
It is probably a bit early in my third year experience to be asking a question like this. However, this particular situation irked me a bit, so I thought I would ask to see if others have had similar experiences. How often do you encounter this combination working in retail and how do you resolve it?
