AAMC online bundle vs complete bundle
I'm trying to figure out if I should get the AAMC Online-only bundle or the Prep Complete Bundle. The only differences between the 2 is that the "Complete" has the Official Guide and the MCAT Flashcards. The online version still has the practice questions included in the Official Guide. Also the AAMC is going to be releasing a new version of the Official Guide and I'm not sure if it's worth getting the new version, the current version, or just skip the printed version of the guide. TBR Physics Exam 1.2 #9 Change in momentum
As a hot-air balloon ascends upward at a constant speed, a package is dropped out of the balloon. At the instant the package is released, the momentum of the balloon: A.) increases B.) decreases C.) is unaffected because the force does not change D.) is unaffected because the decrease in mass is compensated by an increase in velocity The answer is A. I couldn't choose an answer because: p=mv, so how do we know if the change in speed is large enough to offset the loss in mass? Or since the... SCANDAL in MARYLAND!! No More Decorative Medical Licenses?!
I just paid $800 for my initial license in the DPRM (Democratic People's Republic of Maryland). Instead of receiving the standard-for-decades, sealed, caligraphic wall license/certificate, I received the same type of license you see in elevators certifying their safety. Really?? For all my efforts, education, time, etc. (plus the $800...), and after decades if not close to a century of decorative certificates, they send me an elevator card?? Need Anki Advice. using zanki for step prep.
Hey guys I just started using the zanki deck. I was wondering if anyone had any input on how to start reviewing old blocks(currently M2). I've been doing 25 new cards and 25 review cards everyday for past blocks to review those before step.(on top of studying for coursework) I was just wondering what people thought about these settings. I feel they are manageable. but i'm not sure what the best settings are to cover past blocks and to make sure I master them. Thank you in advance! (Source: Student Doctor Network)

How to decide between a large number of possible specialties
I think my 4 most likely fields are medicine, neuro, psych, or radiology, but I'm concerned as to how to decide in time to apply for away rotations, especially as I won't have rotated on all of them by that point. I've particularly enjoyed the inpatient experience on the rotations that I have had, and I'm wondering if I'll be dissatisfied if I get a job with significant outpatient work. Looking into medicine. Opinions and advice needed
Hi all, So I've kinda been in a bubble of confusion lately. Just finished first year of dental school. Will say that there have been more cons than pros. Basically have gotten to the point where I feel that I do not enjoy most of the things that we do, and because of that, I feel like I'm wasting my time and money. Hello guys, I was wondering if anyone knew of any good literature that could give a reader an understanding of the American healthcare system? Perhaps literature that gives an overview, problems with the system, the future of the system, etc. I have searched the forums and noticed that most of the threads were started in the early 2000's and was hoping someone could provide more recent material. I'm wondering if the amount of rejections one receives early on correlates to the strength of your application. I applied to 40ish schools in August and have received 5 Rs so far, and nothing else. So there's a lot of cheating on exams and quizzes in Bio 1 class. People hide their phones under the desk, next to or behind things on lab tables, whisper answers to each other and they have their bags on their lap with their phone inside as they have one hand in it. Overall, the course grades are poor/failing. I saw the most cheating on our second lab exam where the class average went up 20 points from the first one (51 to 71). So ever since I decided to go into medicine, I was interested in neuroscience and wanted to be some sort of neuro doc.
