Do I have a chance at OMFS??
Hey guys, I know this horse has already been beaten to death, but I just had to ask because i'm just too nervous. I've been doing pretty well at school till this semester (3rd year 1st semester). Clinic hit and loads of dental classes, and I just haven't been performing very well this semester. I've done a research in OMS field without publications and have done decent amt of extracurriculars and in the process of doing externships (I think I will have done about 3-4 externships total). High MCAT, low CARS - Canadian
Hi all, i'm new to this site so please let me know if should post this elsewhere. I have applied to 5 Canadian schools, but my recent MCAT score basically eliminated my shots at two (and possibly three) of the schools. So now i'm considering applying to USMD during the next cycle and i really need some advice. My journey and decision to podiatry....
Hello possible future podiatry students, I would like to discuss why and how I got into podiatry. Like maybe some of you, I was not sure of what medical profession I wanted to become (optometry, MD, DO, dental, and of course, podiatry). I am going to admit, podiatry at first was my back up profession since my MCAT scores were not that great (490 and 495) but my GPA was a 3.63. Becoming a DO was the ultimate goal of mine and so, I applied for DO (20 schools) and only got one interview... My journey and decision to podiatry.... (Source: Student Doctor Network)
