PEER IX stuck on pretest; account up to date; won't work
Hey everyone, Here we are a prime study weekend for written boards and my PEER IX has decided to get itself stuck in the PRETEST mode. It won't let me access the other material I've been working on for a while. Is anyone else having this problem? Of course the PEER staff takes weekends off (can't blame them). I'm trying to bug them at ACEP 17, hopefully someone fixes this. Incidentally my account is supposed to expire on Oct 31, and just to rule out this as a cause I renewed after I... Your podiatry school, why did you choose it over others?
Hi all, I am a hopeful applicant to podiatry school (if you want to know more about this part, ask, I'm happy to share). As I begin my school search, I was wondering from those who have made their picks recently or in the past years, what made you choose the school you choose to attend over others you had the opportunity to attend? And so far has this school lived out to your expectations coming in? I am trying to figure out what are the aspects of each school I should be paying... Aspiring Psychiatrist: Double Major Recommendations?
I am pretty much a fetus when it comes to my journey towards a career in medicine. I am currently earning my associates degree at a community college in psychology and I aspire to be a psychiatrist. I'm planning on transferring to a CSU in 2019, however, I am unsure if I should take on a double major or just add a minor. I'm also wondering what i should choose as either a double major/minor. Switching Tracks Once Accepted
If you're accepted to a certain track program, are you able to switch once admitted into medical school? Some of the programs are focused on a specific specialty. Of course, I'm willing to give it a try and hopefully all works out. However, if I'm not happy going into that field of medicine after giving things a serious try, would I have the opportunity to switch tracks while in school, or will admittance typically be for only that particular program and I can consider myself stuck for good? Grad Student/Post Doc Quality
So this may come off a bit abrasive, but was curious if anyone else had similar experiences. I go to a top five MD/PhD and am currently in graduate phase. I've rotated though some pretty high powered labs in several departments and the biggest thing I've noticed is that I've found the quality of both grad students and post docs to be.....lacking. This is not to say that there aren't super high caliber grad students out there- there are. I think though that the glut of top programs has... [nontrad] I don't like my engineering major and I wanna go to dental school
I have 2-2.5 years left to complete my Civil Engineering degree, but I hate it and find it passionless. I also do not like the type of work now that I've seen the industry and I realized I am less of a physics/calculations guy anyways. I am at a state university and have a 2.86 GPA at the moment, as well as allot of units from Community College back when I didn't take school very seriously (this is hurting my GPA). Hey all, To make a very long story short, in 2012 I had a 3.8 G.P.A and was getting ready to take my DAT. I could think of no other career I wanted besides Dentistry.
