P/F grading throughout all 4 years. Students seem to be very happy about this.
Yale System + flexibility. Lots of time to pursue interests and research.
START seems like a good op. both socially and for research.
Integration with entire campus allow for pursuit of my non-clinical interests.

High Stat Reapplicant Advice - need some eyes
Hey everyone. I'm not really on SDN so this is a bit new to me. I'm a 2022 graduate from a HYPS school and applied this year during my gap year. I received 3 iis from the bolded schools in my school list below. Got post-interview Rs from Yale and JHU, and am waiting for BUSM, but don't have too much hope. UTSW (Full Tuition) vs UCSF vs Yale with a SO twist

Psychotherapy-heavy residencies
Before I start, I know there's debate on the utility of psychotherapy in psychiatry. Maybe y'all will say I should have been a PsyD. That's not the focus of what I'm asking.
I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on residency programs that are very heavy on psychotherapy that are not research powerhouses (ex. Harvard programs, Yale, NYU, NYP etc). That caveat's important to me because I don't go to a powerhouse medical school that attracts these programs.

Transferring to Yale's Medical school
I (MS1) am attending a state medical school and I noticed that my school has low (and lower quality) match rates for ophthalmology compared to Yale. I am fairly set on ophthalmology and have been doing research in the field for years now.
