Do people struggle financially in Residency?
A resident made a tweet earlier saying that she was living paycheck to paycheck despite her bachelors from Yale and her MD from Harvard (nice humble brag ). It got me wondering though. How common is it for residents to be struggling financially once in residency? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Mount Sinai vs UC San Diego vs Yale MSTP
Currently accepted to the Mount Sinai MSTP off the waitlist, but I am still waitlisted at both UC San Diego & Yale MSTPs. I am struggling to decide whether I should stay on these waitlists or withdraw.

Duke vs. Yale
Hello everyone, just got off Duke's waitlist and I would appreciate any advice you have. Cost is equivalent between the two schools.
Duke:
+ Hospital seems slightly better regarded, both in terms of opportunities and clinical training
+ Dedicated research year
+ Home residency programs in most specialties seem to be higher regarded
+ P/F clinicals and no AOA as of last year

Critical care EEG fellowship?
I recently learned about this fellowship being offered at some places like Yale and Pitt. Could anyone tell me how this works in terms of the job opportunities available post fellowship (academic and private)? CCLCM VS Hopkins VS Yale
Longtime lurker here. Really just want to hear some extra perspectives before I made this decision in the next couple of days.
