Comparison of Effectiveness of Moringa Oleifera Leaves Extract Gel (2%) with Retino A (0.1%) Cream for Treatment of Oral Leukoplakia: Double Blinded Randomized Control Trial
CONCLUSION: This study showed that M. oleifera mucoadhesive gel (2%) is an effective and safe treatment option for oral leukoplakia patients. It demonstrated a significant reduction in lesion size compared to Retino-A cream (0.1%) after 3 months of therapy, without any reported adverse effects. However, long-term follow-up studies are needed to evaluate its long-term effectiveness. The performance of hypochlorous acid modified Ag nanoparticle-based assay in the determination of total antioxidant capacity of Boswellia Serrata and Aronia
In this study, the SNPAC method was developed by using hypochlorous (ClO-) at pH 9.3. Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) was used as a stabilizer. The existence of HOCl enables to formation stronger and more stable yellow emission which gives sensitivity. As a result, lower LOD and LOQ values were achieved by the AgNP-HOCl method. The obtaining lower values was attributed to the reoxidation of silver atoms with ClO- ions in the presence of PVP. Phenyl glycosides from < em > Bacopa monnieri < /em > with their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities
This study described the isolation and identification of one new, bacomoside D3 (1), and seven known phenyl glycosides (2 - 8). The structures of isolates were established by analysis of their spectroscopic data or hydrolysis followed by HPLC analysis together with a comparison to those reported in the literature. In this study, we intended to explore the anti-aging mechanism of DP, utilizing computer modeling techniques. The results demonstrated that DP significantly delayed H2O2-induced cellular senescence.
