Ergebnisse einer Umfrage zur aktuellen Behandlung der chronischen Rhinosinusitis mit nasalen Polypen

Einleitung Mit einer Prävalenz von 0,55–4% ist die chronische Rhinosinusitis mit nasalen Polypen (CRSwNP) ein relevanter Bestandteil der täglichen Arbeit in deutschen HNO-Kliniken. Ziel der Fragebogen-basierten Datenerhebung war es, den aktuellen Behandlungsstand der CRSwNP in deutschen Krankenhäusern zu erfassen.
Material und Methoden Hierzu erfolgte der Versand von 24 Fragen innerhalb eines anonymisierten Onlinefragenbogens an deutsche HNO-Kliniken.
Ergebnisse Von 160 angeschriebenen HNO-Kliniken nahmen 50 an der Umfrage teil (31,3%). Davon führten 76%...

Small extracellular vesicles facilitate epithelial-mesenchymal transition in chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps via the miR-375-3p/QKI axis
CONCLUSIONS: MiR-375-3p-enriched sEVs facilitated EMT by suppressing QKI in hNECs. In Reply We appreciate the Letters from Drs Imperiale and Baird and colleagues. Regarding sessile serrated lesions (SSLs) of at least 1cm in size, we are following the most recent US Multi-Society Task Force guidelines, which were cited by Imperiale and colleagues. These guidelines state “Because evidence of the risk of metachronous neoplasia associated with serrated lesions is evolving, whenever possible we have chosen not to include SSPs [sessile serrated polyps] and HPs [hyperplastic polyps] in our definitions of low-risk adenoma, high risk adenoma, and advanced neoplasia, and will refer to these lesions separately.â€...

Performance comparison between two computer-aided detection colonoscopy models by trainees using different false positive thresholds: a cross-sectional study in Thailand
