Career changer planning to apply for master in biomedical science
So I plan to apply to a masters program in the biology field. I have a BA in English and have completed lower division science courses such as Gen Bio, Gen Chem, anatomy and physiology, and first semester organic chemistry. I know most of not all ask for a statement of intention which generally ask about what research I have done. I haven’t done research (I think) but I am currently a lab technician and just got a position as a Jr scientist. Would any of those count? How can a career... Classes for Spring and Summer??
Hey Everyone, I was thinking of taking Anatomy and Physiology in the spring and summer. When I asked my pre-health advisor she said that dental schools don’t really care when you take it as long as you get a solid grade. So my question is do they care if you take anatomy and physiology in the spring and summer or would they rather you take it during the fall and winter? Just looking to get some opinions, thanks! Take an easy class?
This semester I am taking: Organic chemistry 2 with lab- 5 credits Signaling pathways in physiology- 3 credits Biochemistry- 3 credits I need to take 12 credits. This is my last semester. I will have completed all the prerequisites with these. Would it matter if I took something non- science? My science gpa is a 3.3. I plan on taking classes after graduating most likely. I am paying for this semester out of pocket so I am trying to be reasonable with my expenses. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Upcoming NBME Cardiovascular system exam
I have an upcoming NBME based exam using school chosen questions from various parts of different NBME subjects for cardiovascular systems and this is my first such exam in MS1. What would you recommend for time spent studying for pathology, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, histology/cell bio, biochemistry, and microbiology? If I go by my Gutton Hall Medical Physiology vs. Robbins Pathology, there is more physiology than pathology. When I looked at an NBME basic science exam, it gave a... Sciencey classes without BCPM prefixes
Question: I took a class called Anatomy & Physiology of Speech and Hearing as a Speech-Language Pathology prereq in case I don't get into medical school. It was all biology. However, the catalog code was Communicative Disorders 385. Can this count as BCPM based on content? Thanks! (Source: Student Doctor Network)
