I was accepted into the Georgetown MS in Physiology program along with a few others should I take out about 60k in loans (14.99%APR) to attend Georgetown? *Reapplicant to DO schools, first time applicant for MD schools* I am an undocumented student, so I would have to take out a very high interest rate student loan to be able to afford GU. Do you think it’s worth doing the masters program? Or should I just stay home work and focus on the MCAT? Here are my stats and all the schools I’ve... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Need advice on how to do DIY post bacc and clinical shadowing.
Hey guys, I've made a few threads here in the past but I am once again in need of more advice from you great people. I'm currently working and waiting to pursue a DIY post-bacc next August. I graduated in 2018 with a 3.19 B.S. in Human Physiology. This was mostly due to me doing a D1 sport + being naive about what to do for a major, and then injuring my lower back (herniated disc) severely. My gpa the first two years tanked badly but I managed to push out that final gpa. This injury was... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

I haven't heard much about this program but their curriculum and structure seem appealing as post-baccs go. I'm currently waitlisted and am considering either this program or the Georgetown SMP.
