Complications of ultrasound guided very small-bore chest drains for pleural effusions of different etiology
CONCLUSIONS: A single small-bore chest drain (6-10 F) was successful in the vast majority of simple PEs, but had high complication rates in empyema with frequent need of additional drains or surgery. Two different collections of the gilled wild fungus Tricholoma terreum, collected in Italy, were subjected to phytochemical analysis. The fungal material was confidently identified by analysis of the ITS genomic sequences. An important obstacle in the fight against diabetic retinopathy (DR) is the use of a classification system based on old imaging techniques and insufficient data to accurately predict its evolution. New imaging techniques generate new valuable data, but we lack an adapted classification based on these data.
