Feeling unsupported in program
Hi all,
I don’t want to get into details too much because I don’t want to reveal the program I am in, but briefly, I am a doctoral student in a clinical psychology program in the US. I have found myself feeling very unsupported by my mentor as well as my program as a whole (e.g., in the past, my mentor not attending a talk I gave at a local conference he was at, etc.), receiving more criticism than praise (this is not just me, but typical for my peers as well). CME funds
The end of the year is coming up and a lot of you all have remaining CME dollars. Unlike other specialties there seems to be limited ways to spend this other than the few conferences, books, and board review programs available. Do any of you have any good strategies here? National Conference Presentation: Does length determine if it "counts" for ERAS?
I got an admittedly pretty unsophisticated abstract accepted to a national conference. Weirdly, the presentation time is only 3 minutes long with a maximum of 5 slides... They call it a "quickshot" presentation, but it is still orally presented, followed by a Q&A.
Does this still count as a national conference oral presentation? It seems that there is another category of presentation that I was NOT accepted for, which they refer to as an "oral" presentation (8 minutes long).

PI emails admissions
Hello,
So I have recently been presenting at many conferences, and have had 2 separate physician-PIs from the same T10 school (they are involved in medical education and hold separate hospital department chair statuses) congratulate me on my research and offer to send emails of support to admissions since I haven't recieved an interview yet. My own PI, who is at this same school and is also a hospital department chair, also offered to send an email of support.

Research Poster Question
Sorry if this sounds like an ignorant question but I am new to the field of research and poster presenting. I plan on presenting a project in which I will be the 5th author of the manuscript. I plan on making a poster and presenting the project at a local conference. Question regarding activities
Hi everyone I need advice. I graduated in 2021 and I am on my second gap year. I have 3 research experiences with poster and award and one publication but my authorship is literally last like 6th author. I was wondering if I need a pub to do well in the next cycle when I apply? Would it hinder me if i do not have one?
