How do you give feedback for conference lectures?
Do residents at your program have the option to give feedback to leadership on weekly conference didactics? As in, didactic #1 was helpful because...but #2 was not... If so, how do you do it? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

ACFAS “Experts” - Research Article
Came across the attached article and thought it was pretty clear identifying current weaknesses in Podiatry. For starters it would have been better if they separated the data between ACFAS and AOFAS rather than lumping it together. Would be interesting to see which conference has more “experts” lecturing. What the article clearly identifies is that most speakers are not experts in that particular topic. So I present the question… Why are residents and fellows lecturing at all... Should I put this research experience under the research activity section which was done while taking courses?
While I was in the nursing program. I had three different courses that required research. 1. Two people were teamed up to do research about alternative pain management techniques, required to read several articles, and had to do a poster presentation in class like a conference. 2. The name of this course was literally Research: the team of 4-5 people was assigned to common hospital malpractice? or mistakes such as urinary catheter infection, fall precaution, and patient identification... Expanding CV using cloud doc link
Hi everyone, This is a question that comes from my peers, but I wanted to get feedback. Some facts are slightly changed. An applicant with significant research experience wants to apply MD or MD/PhD but wants to include a link to a cloud document (Google doc) that lists the citations along with data/photos that have been published. Some work may also be in the form of short videos (edited for appropriate use in conference presentations). Basically can someone include a link to an... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

What are my odds for IR
Really want to do IR and was hoping for some guidance The good: Step 1 252 Step 2 262 Mid tier MD school Prior work experience as an x ray technician before medical school The bad: No research publications (only like 2 poster presentations at a primary care conference) All high passes in third year (no red flags but no honors either) The ugly: My face! (kidding) Any input would be helpful. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

WAMC/MCAT Retake: 507 MCAT (126/126/127/128) and 3.99 GPA, Hispanic male from Florida
Hi all! I recently received my April 9th MCAT score back (507 - 126/126/127/128). I have a 3.99 GPA and want to apply to MD programs (in-state and out of state). This will be my first time applying. I am a Hispanic male in Florida and am open to applying to any schools. WSOA conference slanders podiatry - Seattle, WA
Conference is run by a Swedish Medical Physician yet he gives no credit to the historically strong Swedish Medical Center podiatry program which literally handles all the foot and ankle trauma at two Swedish medical campuses in downtown Seattle. Then they bring up a female orthopedic foot and ankle doc who spreads a lot of misinformation about podiatry. ACFAS and APMA will do nothing. These ortho MDs continue to bring up the skewed articles we have talked about before... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

CAP Pathologist Leadership Conference
So there was a CAP Pathologist Leadership meeting over the weekend. Was anyone there who would like to talk about what was discussed during the workforce discussion? Reading some of these tweets, a few things stuck out… Apparently there is a pathology resident shortage? I LMAO at this. Dr Mills, around where I live there are 25-30 residents being put out every year (not including fellows). Jobs are very few. Few as in I can count the number of jobs on my one hand and you really think... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)
