Endometrioid Endometrial RNA Index Predicts Recurrence in Stage I Patients
CONCLUSIONS: Tumors with high-risk genetic features may require additional treatment or closer monitoring and are not readily identified using traditional clinicopathologic and molecular features. EERI performs with high sensitivity and modest specificity, which may benefit from further optimization and validation in larger independent cohorts.PMID:38669067 | DOI:10.1158/1078-0432.CCR-23-3158 (Source: Clinical Cancer Research)

An Undergraduate Health Care Experience Course Increases Confidence and Improves Student Understanding of Health Care Careers
This study assessed student background, interest in health care, and plans for future careers in underserved settings. Students who enrolled in the HCE demonstrated high interest in science, health care, and rural health. Evaluation of student reflections indicated students attained novel learning, gained insights, and recognized the importance of communication. The HCE course students exhibited amplified confidence in HCEs and had a significant increase in understanding of health care compared with a control group of students who had not completed the HCE. Creating a neuroanatomy education model with augmented reality and virtual reality simulations of white matter tracts
CONCLUSIONS: VR/AR-based educational models have the potential to improve education. VR/AR-based training systems can serve as an auxiliary tool in neuroanatomy training, offering a realistic alternative to traditional learning tools.PMID:38669709 | DOI:10.3171/2024.2.JNS2486 (Source: Journal of Neurosurgery)
