GSE122739 Differential requirement for B-cell Receptor signaling during adhesion of different Mantle Cell Lymphoma cell lines to stromal cells
Conclusions: The results suggest that different MCL cell lines exhibit different signaling profiles and pathway dependencies during microenvironment interaction. In this study BCR signaling pathways were shown to be important for stromal cell adhesion of JeKo1 cells but not REC1 cells. This provides a possible mechanism to account for the differential responsiveness of MCL patients to treatment with the Bruton ’s Tyrosine Kinase inhibitor, Ibrutinib, an inhibitor of BCR signaling that is clinically approved for MCL.

GSE174741 LINC01133 inhibits invasion and promotes proliferation in an endometriosis epithelial cell line
Contributors : Quanah J Hudson ; Iveta Yotova ; Florian M Pauler ; Rene WenzlSeries Type : Expression profiling by high throughput sequencingOrganism : Homo sapiensEndometriosis is a common gynecological disorder characterized by ectopic growth of endometrium outside the uterus and associated with chronic pain and infertility. We investigated the role of LINC01133 in endometriosis, an lncRNA that has been implicated in several types of cancer. We found that LINC01133 is upregulated in ectopic endometriosis lesions. As expression appeared higher in the epithelial endometrial layer, we performed an siRNA knockdown of LINC011...

GSE181078 RNA sequencing of DDX23 knockdown by siRNA in ovarian cancer cells
In this study, DDX23 was first identified as a key DEAD-box RNA helicase in ovarian cancer, and its overexpressed was associated with poor clinical outcomes. High expression of DDX23 was involved in the malignant proliferation and aggressiveness of ovarian cancer.

GSE179496 Targeting the Viral Suppressor of RNAi Provides a Novel Strategy for Antiviral Therapy
Contributors : Yuan Fang ; Zezhong Liu ; Yang Qiu ; Jing Kong ; Yuhong Fu ; Yujie Liu ; Chong Wang ; Jia Quan ; Qian Wang ; Wei Xu ; Lei Yin ; Jie Cui ; Yi Xu ; Stephen Curry ; Shibo Jiang ; Lu Lu ; Xi ZhouSeries Type : Non-coding RNA profiling by high throughput sequencingOrganism : Enterovirus A71RNA interference (RNAi) is an antiviral immunity conserved in diverse eukaryotes including mammals, while viruses encodes viral suppressors of RNAi (VSRs) as countermeasures. However, the physiological impact of RNAi on viral infection in mammals has not been fully assessed, and it also remains unknown whether antiviral RNAi can...

GSE180273 Global mapping of the macrophage-HIV-1 transcriptome reveals that productive infection induces remodeling of the host cell DNA and chromatin
Contributors : Robert Lodge ; Alexandre Deshiere ; Corinne Barat ; Michel J TremblaySeries Type : Expression profiling by high throughput sequencingOrganism : Homo sapiensIt has been proposed that macrophages could serve as long-lived compartments for HIV-1 infection under in vivo situations because these cells are resistant to the virus-mediated cytopathic effect, produce progeny virus over extended periods of time and are localized in tissues that are often less accessible by treatment. Comprehensive experimental studies are thus needed to characterize the HIV-1-induced modulation of host genes in these myeloid lineage c...

GSE158710 The effect of RNA polymerase V on 24-nt siRNA accumulation depends on DNA methylation contexts and histone modifications in rice
Contributors : Kezhi Zheng ; Dong-Lei YangSeries Type : Methylation profiling by high throughput sequencingOrganism : Oryza sativaRNA-directed DNA methylation (RdDM) functions in de novo methylation in CG, CHG, and CHH contexts. Here, we performed map-based cloning of OsNRPE1, which encodes the largest subunit of Pol V, a key regulator of gene silencing and reproductive development in rice. We found that rice Pol V is required for CHH methylation on RdDM loci by transcribing long non-coding RNAs. Pol V influences the accumulation of 24-nt siRNAs in a locus-specific manner. Biosynthesis of 24-nt siRNAs on loci with high CHH...
