Iguratimod prevents renal fibrosis in unilateral ureteral obstruction model mice by suppressing M2 macrophage infiltration and macrophage-myofibroblast transition
This study aimed to investigate whether iguratimod could affect renal fibrosis progression. Three different concentrations of iguratimod (30 mg/kg/day, 10 mg/kg/day, and 3 mg/kg/day) were used to intervene in unilateral ureteral obstruction (UUO) model mice. Iguratimod at 10 mg/kg/day was observed to be effective in slowing UUO-mediated renal fibrosis. Assessing the role of Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 14 in AKI: a European consensus meeting

Factors associated with post-hospitalization dialysis dependence in ECMO patients who required continuous renal replacement therapy
CONCLUSIONS: AKI requiring CRRT was associated with high mortality in patients receiving ECMO. Nonetheless, most ECMO survivors became dialysis-free before hospital discharge. Association of KLOTHO gene variants with metabolic and renal function parameters in Mexican patients living with type 2 diabetes
ConclusionIn Mexican patients living with type 2 diabetes,KL variant rs9536314 was found associated with low odds of hypo-HDL cholesterol, albuminuria and presence of CKD.
