A little warning about Touro NY
1) Regardless of what the Deans tell you on your interview day, this is in fact a mandatory attendance school
2) 50% of entering students hold a Masters from an SMP program that specifically teaches medical school classes, not the other smp programs.
3) 25% of the class is held back from writing comlex 1/step 1.
4) 20% of the class fails step 2.
5) 10% of the students that enter will never graduate. 300k debt, no degree, ouch.

Just a warning.
Do not settle for a mediocre letter of recommendation when it comes to your application. A great letter of recommendation from a non-required professor is infinitely better than a forcibly written one from a required one. In other words, 1 bad letter of rec can greatly undermine 3 good ones. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

This will be a slower paced game. There will be several rule changes. The point will be to get all players, veterans and noobs, to focus on strategy and gameplay instead of items and roles (I will not say if these will be present or not). IA question
Hey y'all,
So I submitted my application a few days ago, but just remembered, due to the rash of IA threads that just came out: I was brought before a student government board, my junior year, for having "evidence of burning" in my room (a candle.) Academic Misconduct
UPDATE 5/28/2016:
Hi, so I appeared before a committee and the decision was a written warning for cheating. The reasoning was that I failed to report a cheating incident, which is an honor code violation. (Even though I wasn't aware this was cheating...)
In the official decision, it states that they were not convinced I used any material to cheat, but I'm in trouble for failing to report.
Does anyone know how medical schools will view this? I'm so sad, I feel like my dreams are ruined lol....
