AbstractCutaneous radiation-associated angiosarcoma (cRAA) is a rare and aggressive secondary cutaneous angiosarcoma (cAS) with poor survival. cRAA has been mostly reported in breast carcinoma patients. Owing to its rarity, there is scanty literature available and no treatment guidelines. 992 The prevalence of human papillomavirus (HPV) DNA in male genital lichen sclerosus (MGLSc)
MGLSc is an acquired, chronic skin disease that can lead to sexual dysfunction and urological morbidity. Although both MGLSc and HPV are considered risk factors for penile cancer, no clear link has been found between the two. To further investigate the possibility of an association we correlated the presence of MGLSc and HPV across the prepuce. Preputial fresh frozen samples were collected from nine patients with clinically diagnosed MGLSc. The specimens were divided into a grid and biopsies were obtained to determine the spatial distribution of MGLSc and for HPV DNA sequencing. (Source: Journal of Investigative Dermatology)

Long-term oncological results in penile cancer treated by inguinal lymphadenectomy
ConclusionInguinal lymph node dissection is essential in the treatment of penile cancer. Recurrence-free, specific and overall survival are closely linked to the lymph node stage. Extracapsular extension and pelvic lymph node invasion are highly negative prognostic factors. (Source: World Journal of Urology)
