Did poorly in smp
Hey everyone, So I am actually thinking of applying to osteopathic medical school in the next few months and wanted to know your opinion and ask for advice. I graduated from luc with a bs in biology with a concentration in molecular biology. I graduated in 2015 with a 3.0 cumulative and science gpa. Through those years I mostly had a lot of B's. I did have to retake organic chemistry II about 3 times. The following year, I retook all of my classes that had a c or lower in them at 3... Did poorly in smp (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Should I do a second Bachelors?
Hey Everyone, So I have a bachelors degree in Biology but I had a 2.34 cumulative gpa at my school. I am currently working as a scribe part-time. So I know my gpa is really low but I am working on developing more study habits and I am determined to keep working towards becoming a doctor eventually. So I found out I was recently accepted to this molecular genetics technology program. Its a bachelors program that will take about two years to complete , consists of 75 credits, and leads to... Need help with schools: 3.94 / 512 meh ECs
Hey guys! A little background - I am applying this cycle and am looking for schools to add to my current list. I have a 3.94 GPA and a 512 MCAT majoring in Bio and Sociology (gotta spice things up a bit) About 400 hours of independent molecular biology research - correlates to one full school year although I quit recently since I could not stand bench research. Before starting independent research I spent about 700 hours as a lab aide in the same lab. Summer after freshman year I worked... What to do in gap year?
Hey guys, I need some help deciding what to do during my gap year (likely two gap years). I recently graduated from a solid school. I have a 3.796 cGPA and a 3.802 sGPA. My GPA has an upward trend as I had a 3.6ish GPA through my sophomore year and a 3.96 across my junior and senior years. I majored in Molecular and Cell Biology. My MCAT was rather low at 501. I would strongly prefer an MD school and know I would have to retake to be more competitive. I have a good amount of research... What to do in gap year? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Hi, please help! I have 10 days to decide which UC to go to for undergrad.
Hi SDN, I'm currently a community college student who's blessed to be deciding between UCI, UCLA, and UC Berkeley to finish my undergrad during the next 2 years. I've eliminated UCB from my list because my parents would prefer me to stay in Socal where I live. Things I should mention: - I did my Ochem, Physics, General Biology, Biochemistry/Molecular Biology at my community college. I will definitely take upper division science courses at both...
