Conclusions: Differences in growth factors and pathways may account for the manifestations of the SS group. Activated PI3K-AKT pathway with higher IGFBP-3 and GH can lead to renal damage. Higher MCSFR in the SS group indicates that high blood pressure and severe kidney damage may be associated with the activation of the immune system. EG-VEGF, VEGFR2, VEGFR3, and VEGF-D can also explain the elevated blood pressure due to the dilated lymphatic system which drains excess sodium and water back into circulation. The COVID-19 Epidemic: Management and Outcomes of Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis Patients in Stockholm, Sweden
Conclusion: HD patients #x3e;70 years were reported with longer dialysis vintage, higher CRP, and males were at an increased risk of dying from COVID-19, whereas those #x3c;70 years seemed to have a milder disease. Mitigation strategies to reduce rates of infection in high-risk populations remain essential. Stronger Effect of Azilsartan on Reduction of Proteinuria Compared to Candesartan in Patients with CKD: A Randomized Crossover Trial
Conclusion: A 20 mg azilsartan dose had potent antiproteinuric effects compared with an 8 mg candesartan dose, without an increase in adverse events.
