A systematic review and meta ‐analysis of investigating the mutual impact of COVID‐19 and psoriasis: Focusing on COVID‐19 course in psoriasis and the opinion on biologics in this setting
ConclusionStudies have shown that biologic therapy for psoriasis did not increase the risk of hospitalization due to COVID-19 infection and may have even offered some protection. Treatment adherence was higher in psoriasis patients receiving biologic therapies than those receiving conventional therapies. These findings suggest that psoriasis treatment did not negatively impact COVID-19 infection and that treatment could be continued on a case-by-case basis during the pandemic. TGF ‐β/Smads signaling pathway, Hippo‐YAP/TAZ signaling pathway, and VEGF: Their mechanisms and roles in vascular remodeling related diseases
TGF- β/Smads signaling pathway, Hippo-YAP/TAZ signaling pathway, and vascular endothelial growth factor: their mechanisms and roles in vascular remodeling related diseases. AbstractVascular remodeling is a basic pathological process in various diseases characterized by abnormal changes in the morphology, structure, and function of vascular cells, such as migration, proliferation, hypertrophy, and apoptosis. Various growth factors and pathways are involved in the process of vascular remodeling. The transforming growth factor- β (TGF-β) signaling pathway, which is mainly mediated by TGF-β1, is an important factor in vasc...

Examining the relationship between inflammatory biomarkers during COVID ‐19 hospitalization and subsequent long‐COVID symptoms: A longitudinal and retrospective study
ConclusionsOur data demonstrate that female patients present more often with lower levels of inflammatory biomarkers on admission which are subsequently associated with long-term post-COVID symptoms, such as myalgia and anxiety, in those discharged from hospital with severe COVID-19. Further research is needed into the role of serum biomarkers in post-COVID prognostication. (Source: Immunity, Inflammation and Disease)

Down ‐regulation of OIP5‐AS1 inhibits obesity‐induced myocardial pyroptosis and miR‐22/NLRP3 inflammasome axis
ConclusionOur results revealed that downregulation of OIP5-AS1 can inhibit obesity-induced myocardial pyroptosis via miR-22/NLRP3 inflammasome axis. This finding lays a foundation of gene therapy for heart disease targeting OIP5-AS1. (Source: Immunity, Inflammation and Disease)

LncRNA HOTAIR regulates the PI3K/AKT pathway via the miR ‐126‐3p/PIK3R2 axis to participate in synovial angiogenesis in rheumatoid arthritis
ConclusionLncRNA HOTAIR has the potential to activate the PI3K/AKT pathway, likely through the regulatory axis involving miR-126-3p/PIK3R2, consequently contributing to synovial angiogenesis in RA. (Source: Immunity, Inflammation and Disease)

Analysis of gastrin ‐17 and its related influencing factors in physical examination results
ConclusionsG17 secretion is closely related to PG andH. pylori. Combined screening contributes to early screening of gastrointestinal diseases in normal people or groups at high risk for gastric cancer, but the influence of inflammatory indicators on G17 should be excluded to improve the reliability of the results.
