WAMC for a neuro internship
I'm a rising 5th year in a deent PhD clinical psych program that doesn't have a neuro focus. I discovered a love for assessment late in my 2nd year and have been trying to pivot in a neuro direction but feel like I'm playing catch-up. Ortho experiences doable during AEGD/GPR?
It's kind of strange having to prepare to apply Ortho again before this current cycle has even really started but just to be prepared, does anyone know of any ortho specific experiences (could be CE, preceptorships/observerships etc.) that one could presumably do during an AEGD/GPR? Are we allowed to work as psych associates during internship year outside internship hours? Or is it not permitted during internship year?
I checked the state regulation and as long as one has MA in psychology or one is a Ph.D. candidate, they can work as psych associates.
Given that internship pays very little stipend, i can’t help but to seek side job opportunities to sustain living.
