How can I leverage programming/coding knowledge in medical school/research
Hey all,
Wanted to see if my skill set could be of much use as I enter medical school.

Finding independent scholarships
Hi! I thought I'd post here to see if anyone has recommendations for databases of independent scholarships for admitted MD students.

Highly Sensitive People/Children
Every so often I determine there isn't enough suffering in my life so I decide to read the source material for whatever pop psychology term my patients have latched on to from TikTok or YouTube or whatever.

Intern hoping to switch specialties
Hello!
I am currently an OBGYN PGY-1 who decided that OBGYN is not for me. I am hoping to switch into preferably Internal Medicine, but if not, Family Medicine. I have signed up for all the websites that provide information on open residency spots including AMA Frieda database, ResidentSwap, and FindaResident, but have been told that many of the residency programs on there prefer an IM>IM transfer for smoother transition given how late it is in the year.

Restraining Order and Admissions
I’ve been lucky enough to have an acceptance and I’m excited to start medical school in August. I had a clean record while applying and when my school conducted the AAMC background check in January.
However, since then I have been served with a petition for a domestic violence restraining order from my ex-girlfriend. I am currently fighting this and have retained an attorney as the allegations are false but I know that the temporary RO is in law enforcement database.
