Utility of Office Hysteroscopy in Diagnosing Retained Products of Conception After Early Pregnancy Loss After In Vitro Fertilization
CONCLUSION: In patients with EPL after IVF, office hysteroscopy detected retained products of conception in 24.4% of those with normal pelvic ultrasonogram results. Due to the efficacy of office hysteroscopy in diagnosing and treating retained products of conception, these data support considering office hysteroscopy as an adjunct to ultrasonography in patients with infertility who experience EPL after IVF.PMID:37769303 | DOI:10.1097/AOG.0000000000005382 (Source: Obstetrics and Gynecology)

Clinical efficacy and safety analysis of different treatment options for Cervical pregnancy
CONCLUSION: Our results showed that hysteroscopic curettage, HIFU, and UAE followed by hysteroscopic curettage are safe and effective for treating patients with CP. Compared with the UAE, HIFU has the advantages of lower hospitalization costs, shorter hospital stays, and shorter menstrual recovery intervals.PMID:37699591 | DOI:10.1080/02656736.2023.2255757 (Source: International Journal of Hyperthermia)

Melatonin-pretreated HucMSCs improved endometrium regeneration and fertility recovery through macrophage immunomodulation in rats with intrauterine adhesions
This study aimed to investigate whether melatonin pretreatment enhances the efficacy of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (HucMSCs) in IUA treatment in rats. First, we explored the effect of melatonin on the biological activity of HucMSCs in vitro through a macrophage co-culture system, CCK-8, EdU, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence staining, and qRT-PCR. Subsequently, we established the IUA rat model and tracked the distribution of HucMSCs in this model. In addition, we observed the number of M1 and M2 macrophages through immunofluorescence staining and detected the levels of inflammatory cytokines. Four weeks a...

Severity of intrauterine adhesions and pregnancy success rates after treatment: Comparison of adhesions obtained from open myomectomy versus uterine curettage
Afr J Reprod Health. 2022 Dec;26(12):90-96. doi: 10.29063/ajrh2022/v26i12.10.ABSTRACTIntrauterine adhesions (IUA) are rare. A retrospective comparative study was conducted between January 1, 2015, and December 31, 2018. Group A comprised 117 women who developed IUAs after open myomectomy, while Group B comprised 113 women who developed IUAs following uterine trauma caused by uterine instrumentation after a termination of pregnancy (TOP) or spontaneous miscarriage. The IUA grade and pregnancy rates and outcomes were compared using the March classification system. All patients underwent hysteroscopic adhesiolysis. The adhesi...
