Is there a point of diminishing returns with practice tests?
I am primarily working on content review right now, but will start practice tests soon. I was going to spring for the Altius practice test pack (10) in addition to the 4 AAMC full-lengths. So, that would be 14 total.
When my brother took the LSAT, he took about 20 practice tests and feels that was what helped him score in the 99th percentile.

Is a 504 MCAT "lethal" for MD?
Just talked to my premed advisor today about how I decided to continue applying this cycle despite my 504 MCAT since I received the AAMC FAP. She basically told me my chances are "lethal" for MD and I should not have wasted my time. She told me to retake the MCAT before next cycle and that there is a "99% chance" I will be a re-applicant because "medical schools only take someone with a 504 if they are non-trad" (I'm applying straight out of undergrad). Guys I feel so discouraged! I'm planning on taking the MCAT in Jan 25th and I just took my second practice test from Princeton Review and I scored 493 . I've taken the AAMC sample test a long time ago (scored 495) and I've been studying since then. I did all AAMC section bank and questions and I also did all Princeton Workbook (about 90 passages for each subject) and used Anki. I don't know if I'll be ready for the Jan 25 exam. I've got a 3.9 total GPA / 3.9 BCPM GPA. Was planning to apply next cycle. I just got MCAT score back and sadly received a 506 (123/130/123/130), which messed me up because I had been scoring in the 5 teens in my AAMC FL's with 127-128 in the sciences. Is a July MCAT test date too late?
I work a full time job and am attending college full time as well. The soonest that I would feel comfortable taking my MCAT, with the proper amount of content review and AAMC material practice is July 17. The scores would be released the 17th of August. How lethal is the following GPA for MD applications..?

sGPA: 3.4
Overall GPA: 3.25
F: 1.43
S: 0.53
J: 3.95
S: 4.0
Non-trad with the freshman and sophmore GPAs before a long break. Post break received almost all A's (single B in spanish 2)
Also took difficult upper level science courses with all A's
I ask because the MSAR data doesn't look optimistic with GPA's this low...
