Advice on (slight) change in study plan - received Boren Scholarship & taking August 24th
Hi all! I'm a sophomore in college right now, and I am registered to take the MCAT on August 24th. I made my three month study plan for the summer, which looks pretty similar to how most study plans are First month (May 6th - June 4th) content review Second and third month (June 5th-August 24th) UWorld + AAMC material; BP exams transitioning to AAMC full lengths However, I recently got notified that I got awarded the Boren scholarship that funds me to learn a language in... AAMC Traffic Rules For the April 15th Deadline
I am still waiting for financial aid offers from most of my admitted schools. I know the traffic rules say by April 15th to drop all but 3 offers. I have also heard that this is just a suggestion, not a requirement, but I cannot find any official AAMC sources that say its a suggestion. Can anyone clarify or provide official links where it says its a suggestion. And is the process as simple as sending an email to a school? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

MCAT Score Increase Chances
I just finished my first AAMC FL (I did the unscored) and got a 508 (127/127/126/128) according to the converter. I took a BP FL about a month ago and got a 503 and have done UWorld between then and now. I’m aiming for a 515-517 and am testing May 24 while working full time (I am planning to use PTO to take the week before my test off to study) What can I do between then and now to achieve that goal? Is 515-517 out of the question? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

MCAT attempts
Hello, I have not taken the MCAT yet, but will be taking it in a few weeks (4/26). On my AAMC portal, it says testing year remaining: 2 and lifetime limit remaining: 6. Is this counting the exam I have signed up for? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Question about AAMC immunization form for VSLO aways
So I was able to have someone at my school sign the form for me after I filled it out. I am just wondering if I am supposed to attach anything to this? It says "Copy attached" on the right side of the aamc immunization form for each vaccination so do I need an official proof from the health department or something? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

AACOMAS Fee Waiver?
I qualified for the AAMC fee assistance program based on earning fairly little in my current job. I'm over 26 and independent so I didn't need to provide parental income for that application. The AACOMAS fee waiver seems harder to receive. For AACOMAS, it seems parental income is required even if you're independent. The only exceptions are if parents are deceased or incarcerated or if you're legally emancipated. This seems rather strict. Wondering what experiences other have had. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

AAMC MCAT Official Prep Complete Bundle Worth It?
Hello! I am wondering if anyone has ever purchased the AAMC MCAT Official Prep Complete Bundle (Online + Print Book) | 1-Year Subscription for $300. It's a bundle of all of their materials, but what I really want to know is if the problem packets included have the same problems and materials repeated over and over (CollegeBoard ripped me off once when I bought different editions of their official guides only to realize it was the exact same content with a different cover). Here is... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Potentially stupid question, but please please help: Should I retake a 513?
Real MCAT score: 513 - 125/128/128/132 Scored AAMC FLs taken after the real deal: FL 3: 516 - 129/126/130/131 FL 4: 516 - 129/128/129/131 For context, I took the real MCAT 1/26/24 and I’m signed up to retake it literally next week, 3/22/23. My parents are very pushy about retaking because they want me to get into USF or UMiami Med. I myself want to get into UMiami Med but like many of us, I would be overjoyed to get in literally anywhere. I did not expect to get a 513 on my... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Are there any good CARS courses
I took the exam twice, and I did very badly on CARS!!! (I got 120 the first time and 121 the second time). My parents recommended that I take a course on CARS. What do you guys think? English is not my native language; however, I can read just fine. I have finished JW during my first attempt + AAMC CARS resources. During my second attempt, I redid the AAMC materials and did some UEarth + JW. However, there was no improvement. (Source: Student Doctor Network)
