NIGMS Medical Scientist Training Program Symposium
- 50 Years of training Physician Scientists
This is a half-day symposium marking the 50th anniversary of the NIGMS Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP), which trains students in both basic science and clinical research. The event, which is free and open to all, will feature research talks by current and former MSTP trainees as well as remarks by NIH director Francis Collins, Association of American Medical Colleges president and CEO Darrell Kirch, and other leaders.
