The effect of neuropilin-1 silencing on the transforming growth factor- β1-mediated epithelial-mesenchymal transition of colon cancer SW480 cells and its effect on the proliferation and migration of colon cancer cells
In conclusion: silencing, NRP-1 in colon cancer SW480 cells can partially reverse TGF-β1-mediated EMT, reduce the proliferation activity of colon cancer cells, and slow their migration ability. Safe and effective delivery of small interfering RNA with polymer- and liposomes-based complexes.
Abstract We developed binary and ternary complexes based on polymers and liposomes for safe and effective delivery of small interfering RNA (siRNA). Anti-luciferase siRNA was used as a model of nucleic acid medicine. Correlation of GOLPH3 Gene with Wnt Signaling Pathway in Human Colon Cancer Cells
Conclusions: Overexpression of GOLPH3 gene activated the Wnt signaling pathway, as well as increasing expression of β-catenin, promoting proliferation and inhibiting apoptosis in human colon cancer cells. The mechanism of action was that overexpression of GOLPH3 gene activated Akt, which may also further activate the Wnt signaling pathway via GSK-3β, and promote proliferation in human colon cancer cells.
