The T Cell Receptor Repertoire Diversity Following Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation
This study aimed to assess the T cell receptor (TCR) repertoire diversity in CD4+ cells of patients with hematological malignancies who received allogeneic or autologous HSCT. The diversity of the TCR repertoire was evaluated in 13 patients with hematologic malignancies before and four months after HSCT. Amino acid changes in the 25 Vβ families were evaluated using Spectratyping and data were presented as Hamming distance (HD). HD more than 20% was considered a change in TCR repertoire after HSCT. The mean HD was significantly changed after transplantation in all Vβ gene families, with most amino acid changes in p4 and p...

Allergol Immunopathol (Madr). 2022 Nov 1;50(6):17-21. doi: 10.15586/aei.v50i6.655. eCollection 2022.ABSTRACTAtopic dermatitis (AD) is mainly considered an allergy, exacerbated by allergic factors. Is there evidence to suggest the existence of autoimmune components in the pathophysiology of the illness? Studies in the literature that dealt with the occurrence of autoimmunity in children with AD were analyzed. We followed the studies published in PubMed for 10 years, from 2001 to 2021. Clinical signs and symptoms were similar to other autoimmune diseases, having periods of remission and relapses. Other correlations between A...
