Latest can take MCAT to apply to T10-20s without repercussions
Hi. I'm currently scheduled for a May MCAT date but am insanely confident based on FL's and growth that if I take it mid June, I'll do really well and get the score I want. What is the latest I can take an MCAT without repercussions for applying to T20s (as an ORM male)? I'll submit my primary the first date it opens and be using the throwaway method. Would a test date of June 14 (06/14) with a score back of July 14 or so with throwaway method be ok? Thanks guys. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

I took my MCAT today and there were entire passage missing. I raised my hand the proctor saw that and gave me an option to leave or continue or reschedule. I asked how it impact scoring and the lady did not know the answer. I was not anticipating this and in the moment just chose to continue. Has anyone experienced like this? Thank You! How to boost b/b and p/s MCAT score
Hi everyone, my mcat is in about a month and on a practice test 2 weeks ago i got a 510. I want to get at least a 515. I think my biggest problem is not knowing enough content in psyc soc and biology. What would be a quick way for me to learn the content for those sections? I am also in school so I can only study around 4 hours a day. Also does anyone have any good cars strategies? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Mid/Low cGPA sGPA, post-grad plans
I am a 3rd year student, entering 4th year, at a T30 school. Current 3.5 cGPA and 3.0 sGPA, if all goes well I will end college with a J gpa trend and a ~3.6 cGPA and ~3.2sGPA. Taking MCAT in Aug before my senior year (5 months from now) and have been studying hard (striving to destroy this test). I plan on taking a gap year and hopefully apply MD. I am having trouble deciding what my plan should be post-grad -- SMP at a medical school in my hometown to make up for low sGPA (has strong... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

SAT restarted in Ivy League schools, is MCAT becoming more important? Could Step1 score come back?
Harvard announces return to required testing — Harvard Gazette Leading researchers cite strong evidence that testing expands opportunity. news.harvard.edu Harvard is the latest Ivy to require SAT for undergraduate admissions, after data showed SAT scores correlate well with student performance in college. Could MCAT, which has also a demonstrated correlation to board exams, regain some of its lusters? Could STEP 1 again become scored rather than P/F? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

WAMC for DO (3.9 cGPA, 3.86 BCPM, 500 MCAT)
Hi all! I’ve been going back and forth on whether I should apply this upcoming cycle to DO schools. My MCAT is a 500 with unbalanced subsections (123 CP, 127 CARS, 123 BB, 127 PS). I have 1 MD letter, 4 professor letters, and 1 volunteer manager letter. I have 60+ hrs shadowing, 170 hrs medical scribing, 1500+ hrs clinical volunteering, different... Good MCAT, bad CARS, below 10th percentile
I have a 3.81 GPA, MCAT is 516 with a breakdown of (132/125/129/130). Initially I was very happy with the score, but I had such awful anxiety that night that I never slept. As a result, my cars score was abysmal. Wasn't far off from my practice exams either, it was always a section I struggled with. I didn't think it'd matter for US medical schools since it's still a very respectable score, however according to this year's MSAR, the top schools I'm looking to apply to, the cars score is 1...
