Hello, First time posting on this forum so please let me know if I've posted in the wrong place. I am a Canadian looking to apply to a few DO schools this application cycle and was looking for some advice on which schools were my best options. I have LoR. 1 from Biochem Prof, 1 from MD, 1 from DO, and 1 from a... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

J1 Waiver Gastroenterology Jobs
I’m a Canadian on a J1 visa in my second year of GI fellowship training. I’ve started browsing for jobs but I’ve quickly realized it’s quite overwhelming if you don’t exactly know what you’re looking for. Any tips or suggestions would be helpful. Anyone know any companies that can assist j1 individuals with their job search? I know my friends had used resolve.com a couple of years ago, but looks like they only review contracts now. I assume either because of some... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Canadian vs. US CASPer Evaluation
Hi all, I took the Canadian (English) CASPer two days after I took the US one. I was surprised that I scored two quartiles more in the US exam than in the Canadian one. Does anyone else share this experience? What do you think were the differences in evaluation between the two versions? For context, I went to middle school in Québec and graduated from HS and college in the States. (Source: Student Doctor Network)
