For Australian Student Visa- Don't Give More ID than your Passport ---( due to cyber-attack)
Dear everyone, when applying for an Australian Student Visa if you are from the USA/Canada /UK etc. don't give more than your passport for an Aus. student visa as your ID, depiste the Australian immigration website trying to ask for more than that. What i meanby that is that they try to ask for your birth certificate , driver's license , national ID card. Don't give it its not necessary. The reason being the Australian Home Affairs website has been hacked multiple times or attempted... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

What ’s the earliest day to take the MCAT without it being considered in the 24/25 cycle?
Hi everyone, I’m applying in the 24-25 cycle using the MCAT I took last summer, but I’m planning on retaking it for Canadian med schools whose deadline to submit the app is in October since this score doesn’t meet the cutoff for some schools in Canada but is fairly competitive for US med schools. What’s the earilest date I can take it without it being considered by US med schools just in case I get a lower score than my current one? Would July be ok? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

MCCQEI and NAC for USMG
Anyone applied to residency from USMD recently? Website looks like it says the exam requirements are the QEI and NAC, but honestly I think the site is kinda clunky and hard to understand. Applying for H1B programs from USMD
Hi all, I'm a Canadian citizen, currently a 3rd year at USMD school. According to FREIDA there are 128 IM programs that offer H1B visas. I see myself as a pretty average student, honored a couple clerkships, high pass in the rest, 250 STEP 2, couple poster presentations, pretty involved in student orgs and volunteering. There seems to be a pretty good mix of high tier, mid-tier and community type programs from the list of 128 programs mentioned above. My question is, if I hypothetically... J1 visa 2-year return home county
Hello All, I'm a third year at USMD program, and I will be applying for US residency. Just trying to learn more about the H1B and J1 visas. In terms of the J1, have any of you folks gone through the process and actually returned to Canada for 2 years? If so what did the process look like (e.g. Did you have to take exams? Is it like an additional 2 years of residency? Are you operating as an attending? What did you do afterward?). I see lots of folks talking about the waiver, is that what... Canadian Citizen, US DO Student, Is USMLE needed for ECFMG J-1 Visa?
I am a Canadian Citizen. I am enrolled in a US DO Program. I need a J-1 Visa, which ECFMG will provide. Do I need to take USMLE to get a J-1 VISA from ECFMG? Or, as a American Medical Graduate I don't need to take USMLE (I will certainly take COMLEX Exams). Please help with your advise, particularly if you are a Canadian, who got a J-1 visa without taking USMLE. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

I am Canadian Citizen in US DO Program. Do I need to take USMLE to get J-1 VISA from ECFMG?
I am Canadian Citizen currently enrolled in a US DO Program. I will need J-1 Sponsorship from ECFMG. Does ECFMG require a US DO Student who is a Canadian to take the USMLEs in order to sponsor for J-1. I don't wish to spent time and money on USMLE, if I don't really have to. Thank you!
