Dignity and Transcultural Forensic Consultation.
We describe a reference framework of techniques and methods that we think would be useful in this hypothetical forensic consultation. One important aspect of the analysis and case commentary is that going to court circumvents the obligation of those having disputes in this unique space to safeguard each other's dignity. The court system ignores reconciliation of the disputants to each other and to the Church body. We explore the complexity that attaches to transcultural forensic consultation. Knowledge, attitudes and practices with regard to sugar sweetened beverages and taxation among people with type 2 diabetes mellitus in the Caribbean island of Barbados – A cross sectional survey in primary care
Barbados, a small Caribbean island with a population of 280,000 [1] is classified as having a high income economy by the World Bank [2]. The diabetes mellitus prevalence in people 25 years of age and over is estimated to be 18.7% [3]. Management of this condition and its complications place a significant demand on the island's health care system with 42.5% of beds in the island's main hospital being occupied by people with diabetes [4]. A high lower limb amputation rate has been reported [5] and approximately 10% of the budget of the island's main hospital is spent on renal dialysis services [6]. (Source: Primary Care Diabetes)

Spatiotemporal Tools for Emerging and Endemic Disease Hotspots in Small Areas: An Analysis of Dengue and Chikungunya in Barbados, 2013-2016.
Abstract Dengue fever and other febrile mosquito-borne diseases place considerable health and economic burdens on small island nations in the Caribbean. Here, we used two methods of cluster detection to find potential hotspots of transmission of dengue and chikungunya in Barbados, and to assess the impact of input surveillance data and methodology on observed patterns of risk. Using Moran's I and spatial scan statistics, we analyzed the geospatial and temporal distribution of disease cases and rates across Barbados for dengue fever in 2013-2016, and a chikungunya outbreak in 2014. During years with high nu...
