Why are we giving ECFMG status to those countries that have not fully recognized the DO?
Because of the UN recognition in 2018, lots of doors have been opening up for DOs internationally. 88 countries have been approached and 85 of them have given us full recognition. France, Barbados, and slightly Norway has restricted us to OMM. The limit used to exist in some other African countries, which have been fixed by the AMCOA convention in 2019 after the UN recognition. Americans have given ECFMG recognition to France's Diplôme de Formation Approfondie en Sciences Médicales... Why are we giving ECFMG status to those countries that have not fully recognized the DO? Ross University Experience in Barbados
Hello, everyone. I've recently been accepted to Ross University for the September 2019 term. I know that RUSM recently moved from the island of Dominica to the island of Barbados. It is hard to find info about RUSM that is not about student life in Dominica. So I would really appreciate it if any current RUSM students living in Barbados can give me some insight into what student life is like there. Thank you! (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Washington University of Barbados School of Medicine - review
Looks like friend of us reached to some agency in India and they were ready to get an admission into Washington University of Barbados School of Medicine. First of all, going through agencies is not a good idea. So thought of researching about that university. It says started only last year (2016) and not sure if such university really exist. Please let me know if anyone heard/know about this university and your input will really help us to make the decision....
