Incidence of atrial fibrillation in patients with renal infarction: A retrospective cohort analysis of the Korean national health insurance registry
Regarding the pathophysiology of renal infarction (RI), cardioembolic causes could have large proportion. However, there are notable variations in prevalence of atrial fibrillation (AF) among patients with RI across different studies, ranging from 17 to 65%. Impact of an expanded reimbursement policy on utilization of implantable loop recorders in patients with cryptogenic stroke in Korea
CONCLUSIONS: The expanded coverage policy for CS had a significant impact on the number of ILR implantation for CS indication. The diagnostic yield of ILR for AF/AFL detection seems better when ILR is implanted within 2 months than later. Deep terminal negative of the P wave in V1 and incidence of ischemic stroke: The atherosclerosis risk in communities (ARIC) study

CONCLUSION: This study suggests that PNPLA3 inhibition increases the risk of major CVDs. Ventricular response as a predictor of the termination of sustained paroxysmal atrial fibrillation
ConclusionsElevated VR rates during AF episodes may be predictors for the termination of AF, especially during the daytime and in patients with nondilated left atria.
