Iatrogenic Air Embolisms During Endovascular Interventions: Impact of Origin and Number of Air Bubbles on Cerebral Infarctions
ConclusionIatrogenic AEs originating at the ascending aorta cause a  similar number and pattern of cerebral infarctions compared to those with origin at the carotid artery. These findings underline the relevance and potential risk of AE occurring during endovascular interventions at the aortic valve and ascending aorta.

Frequency and predictors of poststroke epilepsy after mechanical thrombectomy for large vessel occlusion stroke: results from a multicenter cohort study
ConclusionIn our study, patients with large vessel occlusion stroke receiving MT had a 9% prevalence of PSE over a median follow-up period of 6.5  years. Besides larger infarct size, presence of cerebral microbleeds on brain MRI predicted PSE occurrence.

SLC26A11 Inhibition Reduces Oncotic Neuronal Death and Attenuates Stroke Reperfusion Injury
In this study, electrophysiological properties of chloride current in primary cultured neurons were characterized using low chloride solution, 4,4 ′-diisothiocyano-2,2′-stilbenedisulfonic acid, and SLC26A11-specific siRNA under physiological conditions or ATP-depleted conditions. In vivo effect of SLC26A11 was evaluated on a rat stroke reperfusion model. Neuroanatomical Correlates of Cognitive Impairment following Basal Ganglia-Thalamic Post-Hemorrhagic Stroke: Uncovering Network-Wide Alterations in Hemispheric Gray Matter Asymmetry
In conclusion, PhSCI patients exhibited network-wide cortical GM losses, distal to subcortical hemorrhagic lesions, and hemisphere asymmetry changes. These changes appear to predict rTMS-related cognitive improvements, suggesting that even subcortical focal lesions can lead to alterations in distal cortical neuroanatomical architecture.
