The effects of Baduanjin on physical function, daily living activities and quality of life in patients with stroke: a systematic review and meta-analysis
CONCLUSIONS: Baduanjin is probably an effective rehabilitation method to improve balance, motor, trunk, neurological functions, daily living activities, and quality of life in stroke patients. However, the result of Baduanjin in improving walking function is unstable, and further high-quality randomized controlled trials are needed to confirm the results.PMID:37555455 | DOI:10.1080/10749357.2023.2238433

Predictive utility of stress tests in the detection of asymptomatic coronary artery disease in atherosclerotic stroke patients
Whether and how atherosclerotic ischemic stroke patients should be investigated for asymptomatic coronary artery disease (CAD) is controversial. Our aim was to carry out a prospective observational study to determine the frequency and predictors of functionally significant coronary stenosis in these patients as well as the predictors of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) during post-stroke follow-up.

Application of Nanozymes and its Progress in the Treatment of Ischemic Stroke
AbstractNanozymes are a new kind of material which has been applied since the beginning of this century, and its birth has promoted the development of chemistry, materials science, and biology. Nanozymes can be used as a substitute for natural enzyme and has a wide range of applications; therefore, it has attracted extensive attention from all sectors of the community, and the number of studies has constantly increasing. In this paper, we introduced the outstanding achievements in the field of nanozymes in recent years from the main function, the construction of nanozyme-based biosensors, and the treatment of ischemic stro...
