Potential adverse events in Japanese women who received tozinameran (BNT162b2, Pfizer-BioNTech)
AbstractReports of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis and intracranial hemorrhage (ICH) following the administration of coronavirus vaccines have raised concerns regarding their safety. Although no regulatory authority has recognized ICH as an adverse event associated with tozinameran (BNT162b2, Pfizer-BioNTech), fatal and non-fatal cases have been reported. In Japan, 10 fatal cases (five men and women) have been reported to date. Ischemic stroke, hemorrhage, and mortality in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation and renal dysfunction treated with rivaroxaban: sub-analysis of the EXPAND study
We examined 6806 patients whose baseline CrCl data were available and classified them into 2 groups: normal renal function group with CrCl ≥ 50 mL/min (n = 5326, 78%) and renal dysfunction group with CrCl < 50 mL/min (n = 1480, 22%). In the normal renal function group, 1609 (30%) received 10 mg/day (under-dose), while in the renal dysfunction group, 108 (7%) received 15 mg/day (over-dose). Seaweed Intake and Risk of Cardiovascular Disease: The Circulatory Risk in Communities Study (CIRCS).

Preliminary development of a prediction model for daily stroke occurrences based on meteorological and calendar information using deep learning framework (Prediction One; Sony Network Communications Inc., Japan).
Conclusion: Our preliminary results suggested a probability of the DL-based prediction models for stroke occurrence only by meteorological and calendar factors. In the future, by synchronizing a variety of medical information among the electronic medical records and personal smartphones as well as integrating the physical activities or meteorological conditions in real time, the prediction of stroke occurrence could be performed with high accuracy, to save medical resources, to have patients care for themselves, and to perform efficient medicine.

Impact of rehabilitation start time on functional outcomes after stroke.
CONCLUSION: Starting post-stroke rehabilitation on the day of admission or second day of hospitalization may be the optimum timing for functional outcomes. However, for haemorrhagic stroke, starting rehabilitation on the second day of hospitalization may be more effective than on the day of admission.

Serum Albumin and Risks of Stroke and Its Subtypes - The Circulatory Risk in Communities Study (CIRCS).

Acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke in two covid-19 patients.
We report two cases with coincident presentation of COVID-19 and cerebrovascular accident. Further studies are needed for a comprehensive understanding of the neurological pathology of COVID-19 and its effects on the nervous system, but stroke teams should be wary of the fact that COVID-19 patients can present with cerebrovascular accidents.

The Clinical Characteristics and Treatment Considerations for Intracranial Aneurysms Associated With Middle Cerebral Artery Anomalies: A Systematic Review
Conclusions: The pathophysiological genesis of intracranial aneurysms associated with MCA anomalies is still obscure. The inflicted patients tend to have other concurrent cerebrovascular anomalies, which denotes that congenital defect in cerebrovascular development might play a role in this process. Most of the affected patients could experience a good recovery after treatment.
