Non-invasive evaluation of HABP1 expression with < sup > 99m < /sup > Tc-labeled small-interference RNA in ovarian cancer
CONCLUSIONS: We showed that 99mTc-HYNIC-siHABP1 is a feasible probe for the noninvasive visualization of HABP1 expression in ovarian cancer.PMID:34402389 | DOI:10.1080/09553002.2021.1969052

GSE181078 RNA sequencing of DDX23 knockdown by siRNA in ovarian cancer cells
In this study, DDX23 was first identified as a key DEAD-box RNA helicase in ovarian cancer, and its overexpressed was associated with poor clinical outcomes. High expression of DDX23 was involved in the malignant proliferation and aggressiveness of ovarian cancer.

Cancers, Vol. 13, Pages 3727: Evaluating Targeted Therapies in Ovarian Cancer Metabolism: Novel Role for PCSK9 and Second Generation mTOR Inhibitors
la Ungureanu Background: Dysregulated lipid metabolism is emerging as a hallmark in several malignancies, including ovarian cancer (OC). Specifically, metastatic OC is highly dependent on lipid-rich omentum. We aimed to investigate the therapeutic value of targeting lipid metabolism in OC. For this purpose, we studied the role of PCSK9, a cholesterol-regulating enzyme, in OC cell survival and its downstream signaling. We also investigated the cytotoxic efficacy of a small library of metabolic (n = 11) and mTOR (n = 10) inhibitors using OC cell lines (n = 8) and ex vivo patient-derived cell cultures (PDCs, n = 5) to ide...

Retracted Synergistic effects of eukaryotic co ‑expression plasmid‑based STAT3‑specific siRNA and LKB1 on ovarian cancer < em > in  vitro < /em > and < em > in  vivo < /em >
Oncol Rep. 2021 Sep;46(3):198. doi: 10.3892/or.2021.8149. Epub 2021 Jul 23.ABSTRACTFollowing the publication of this paper, it was drawn to the Editors' attention by a concerned reader that certain of the western blotting data shown in Figs. 1C and 6D bore unexpected similarities to data appearing in different form in other articles by different authors. Owing to the fact that some of the contentious data in the above article had already been published elsewhere, or were already under consideration for publication, prior to its submission to Oncology Reports, the Editor has decided that this paper should be retracted from ...
