CONCLUSIONS: Hospitalized children and AYAs with cancer received OMT safely with decreased pain in their reported somatic dysfunction(s). The Great Imitator Masquerading as Autoimmune Hepatitis and Demystifying as Fulminant Syphilitic Retinitis
CONCLUSION: Acquired syphilitic hepatitis is rarely reported. Administering steroids potentially aggravated the infection. The characteristic features of placoid chorioretinitis and punctate inner retinitis connected the pieces of the puzzle together to the diagnosis of ocular and neurosyphilis. Triptan use in elderly over 65 years and the risk of hospitalization for serious vascular events
ConclusionThe incidence of acute vascular events was low among triptan users. We found that triptan use among older may be associated with a low increased risk for acute vascular events, which may be more marked for cerebral events such as stroke, than for cardiac events. Paracentral acute middle maculopathy and cotton wool spots in a patient with ocular migraine: A case report
In this study, we report paracentral acute middle maculopathy (PAMM) and cotton wool spots (CWS) in a patient with ocular migraine. A 74-year-old man presented with persistent paracentral scotoma in the right eye that began a week prior. His visual acuity was 20/25 in the right eye and 20/40 in the left.
