Clinical characteristics of cryopyrin ‐associated periodic syndrome and long‐term real‐world efficacy and tolerability of canakinumab in Japan: results of a nationwide survey
ConclusionsThis study provides one of the largest epidemiologic datasets for CAPS. While early initiation of anti-IL-1 treatment with canakinumab is beneficial for improving disease prognosis, some patients do not achieve remission despite a high serum concentration of canakinumab. Moreover, IBD may develop in CAPS following canakinumab treatment. (Source: Arthritis and Rheumatology)

The effect of recent antirheumatic drug on features of rheumatoid arthritis ‐associated lymphoproliferative disorders
ConclusionAntirheumatic drugs administered before LPD onset may influence the clinicopathological features of RA-LPD, with patterns changing over time. Furthermore, TCZ-only regimens are recommended after LPD onset. (Source: Arthritis and Rheumatology)

Antiinflammatory Effect of High ‐Density Lipoprotein Blunted by Delivery of Altered MicroRNA Cargo in Patients With Rheumatoid Arthritis
ConclusionHDL-miR-1246 was increased in RA versus control participants and delivery of miR-1246 to macrophages increased IL-6 expression by targetingDUSP3. The altered HDL-miRNA cargo in RA blunted HDL's anti-inflammatory effect. (Source: Arthritis and Rheumatology)

Modulation of IL ‐23 Signaling With Guselkumab in Biologic‐Naïve Patients Versus TNF Inhibitor‐Inadequate Responders With Active Psoriatic Arthritis
ConclusionGuselkumab modulates IL-23 signaling and provides consistent pharmacodynamic effects in both biologic-na ïve and TNFi-IR PsA patients. Significantly elevated baseline IL-22, TNFα, and BD-2 levels and associations between baseline IL-22, IL-17A, and BD-2 levels and skin responses with guselkumab suggest greater dysregulation of IL-23/Th17 signaling in TNFi-IR patients. Associations Between Rheumatoid Arthritis Clinical Factors and Synovial Cell Types and States
ConclusionIn this comprehensive screen of clinical factors, we observed differential associations between DMARDs and cell phenotypes, suggesting that RA therapies, more than other clinical factors, may impact cell type/state in the synovium and ultimately influence response to subsequent therapies.
